Cybersecurity awareness month at BA School of Business and Finance

BA School of Business and Finance in collaboration with ISACA Latvia chapter organized the two workshops for educational sessions on 4th and 5th October with cybersecurity and digital forensics professionals.

Cybersecurity awareness month at Banku augstskola (BA) is held every October. It is a collaborative effort between government and industry to raise awareness about the importance of cybersecurity and to ensure that all users have the resources they need to be safer and more secure online.


Title of the 1st workshop: Psychology Matters on Cyberspace

Lectors: Mischa Coster, Chief Psychology Officer, Grey Matters. He is also a jury member for Digital communication Awards, co-founder of TEDxUtrecht and certified Microexpression Recognition expert.

 

Title of the 2nd workshop: 360/OS: Interactive Practices of OSINT Methods 

Lectors: digital researchers Nika Aleksejeva and Roman Osadchuk  from the DFRLab. 

Nika Aleksejeva is a digital researcher with the DFRLab covering the information space in the Baltic states, Russia, and the wider region.

Roman Osadchuk is a research assistant for the Eurasia region at the Atlantic Council’s Digital Forensic Research Lab.
