1st BMDA Competence Seminar

CONFERENCE MANAGEMENT

Time and location: the seminar will be held at Estonian Business School (EBS) Tallinn, Estonia on September 22nd &23rd, 2008.

Host: Estonian Business School, Tallinn.

The role and competence of the administrative staff in today's institutions is much overlooked element. Internationalisation and development are dependent on the availability of efficient and professional staff at all levels in business schools, executive centres and universities. Cost efectiveness and time is another concern since we all know how tight budgets are for training purposes, and how little time we have to send our administrators to longer courses abroad.

Because of the above, BMDA is organizing a series of short, hands-on seminars, at a reasonable cost, to be launched in the Baltic Region.

The first seminar will be held at Estonian Business School in Tallinn on Monday, 22nd and Tuesday, 23rd of September. It will deal with the necessary skills for organising conferences and seminars, and its aim is to share with those in Baltic, and other business schools, the expertise gained over the past 15 years by the two expert instructors. The seminar is intended to be highly interactive and the participation is therefore limited to 20, on a first-come, first-serve basis.
