2019 BSIS Symposium
Assessing impact - Questions and answers
With growing pressure on business schools to demonstrate impact within their communities, it is not surprising that impact is now high on their agendas. More importantly, schools are becoming increasingly aware of the strategic value in assessing, measuring and analysing the impact.
In 2018, out of the 55 schools to which the AACSB and EFMD board members belong, 76 % used the terms “impact” or “influence” in defining their core purpose.
▪ Are you interested in embarking on impact assessment for your business school?
▪ Has your institution undergone the BSIS process and are you looking for ways to optimise its impact?
▪ The first day of the event will be open to schools that have undergone the BSIS process to share their experiences and learning outcomes.
▪ The second day will explore in detail all aspects of impact assessment including the opportunities, methodologies and challenges and is open to all business schools.
Join the first BSIS symposium on “Assessing Impact – Questions and Answers”, taking place on 24-25 April 2019 in cooperation with HEC Liège!
We will broaden the debate on impact assessment, examine current trends, share global best practices and provoke insightful discussions.
This symposium is the perfect opportunity to network among schools interested in the impact debate, develop a deeper and broader understanding of the impact framework and learn how to construct an assessment system for your business school.
Join us in engaging discussions with experts, panellists and your peers. We encourage you to register soon to take advantage of the early bird rate.
Further details about the event including programme, speakers and practical information are available here.
We invite you to have a look at our latest Global Focus article “Impact: is it enough just to talk about it?” in which Michel Kalika and Gordon Shenton, BSIS co-Directors, explain why business schools are learning how to make a better job in impact assessment.
