AlmaU ranks high

On June 15, 2018, the Independent Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (IQAA) published the results of the annual National Rating of the Best Higher Educational Establishments of Kazakhstan in 6 areas of activity on the agency's website and in the national newspapers Kazakhstan Pravda and Egemen Kazakhstan.

Based on the results of the rating, Almaty Management University took the third place among the Humanity and Economic universities of Kazakhstan, losing only to the Karaganda Economic University of Kazpotrebsoyuz and KIMEP.

While calculating the ranking, the agency uses three types of independent data:

1)      Quantitative Data, which the university presents (70%)

2)      Questionnaire of Experts, including experts from the list of rectors of HEIs, faculty members from local universities, as well as students taking part in the external reviews (15%)

3)      Sociological questionnaire of the representatives from central and regional executive bodies, companies and employers (15%)

After the process, the Supervisory Public Council for rankings, established at the agency, reviews the results of the rankings.

In the 2017, AlmaU has taken a second place in this rating, while in 2016 it was again at the top three best Humanitarian-Economic Universities of Kazakhstan.
