Americans from the “cloud” university like “augmented reality”
April 6 in Almaty Management University, formerly IAB, visited a delegation from St. Cloud University, USA.
St. Cloud University was represented by the president Earl H. Potter, Graduate Director Dr. Ben Baliga, Director of Multicultural Student Services Dr Shahzad Ahmad, Assistant Provost for Undergraduate Recruitment and New Student Transition Dr. Amber M. Schultz.
During the official meeting with top-management was presented a presentation of both universities, as well as discussion of main areas for cooperation. Particular attention was paid to academic mobility of students and faculty members, other joint projects.
Delegation also visited innovative museum of AlmaU, where they were presented students work for mobile applications “augmented reality” and “memory book”. The guests noted an interesting ideas and its realization.
As a result of the visit was an official signing of Memorandum of Understanding between two universities.
