Rector, prof. Andris Sarnovičs, Vice-rector for Academic Affairs, asoc.prof. Līga Peiseniece, Academic Dean of SBS Swiss Business School Dr. Bert Wolfs and program directors Tatjana Mavrenko, Biruta Dzērve, Elita Lielā, Māris Krastiņš and Sintija Deruma congratulates all alumni with the achievement - obtaining the diplomas of BA School of Business and Finance and SBS Swiss Business School. Although this time it was a bit different - a little distant, but still all together.
Andris Sarnovičs emphasized that each period of crisis is a time of new opportunities and inspiration, because when faced with difficulties - new ideas are born! Examples like Giovanni Boccaccio, Steve Jobs, Bill Gates - with their performance and ideas show that original thinking and at least twice as fast movement than the others - leads to development!
During studies it’s not just the time to study - but also to evaluate Yourself. It is not easy to hear what the heart wants, neither to discover who you actually are. It requires a lot of strength and courage to understand whom You really are and what to do in life. I wish You to trust Yourself – and discover Your own unique path of success.
In Your and in even in our experience, this graduation year will be remembered differently - usually after receiving the diploma the first greeters with flowers are relatives and friends, but this year we want to take over this honor. Therefore, accept this first rose as a greeting from the heart of the BA School of Business and Finance, from all our lecturers and professors - all those who have given their support during Your studies, so that You reach one of the many victories of life today!
Dr. Bert Wolfs in his online video speech stated - that "We are very proud of this day – when You graduate with either Your bachelor or master degree. The hard work has paid off – even in the times of COVID-19 and a lot of uncertainty! On behalf of SBS Swiss Business School, the faculty and all the staff – we congratulate You today and wish you the best for Your professional and private life!"

This year was very challenging to everyone in the world. All of us participated in the big exam – we developed good technical and communication skills!
BA School of Business and Finance were really happy and proud that alumni decided to be together on this special day at BA School of Business and Finance. In a survey of 210 prospective graduates, 185 responded that they want to celebrate the day together. To be at present, see each other face to face and not in Zoom.
This spring has been full of challenges, but BA School of Business and Finance accepted and overcome them. Organizing this day has also been a challenge - how to protect alumni and workers, how to keep a distance of 2 m.
We thank all alumni for participating in this event! BA School of Business and Finance wishes all alumni to celebrate the achievement with families and friends!
Taking into account the security aspects, alumni diploma, letter and rose from the BA School of Business and Finance were on the table. There were no handshakes, but there were many good wishes. And was joint photography in memory of this day.
