BA School of Business and Finance at international EUROWEEK networking event

BA School of Business and Finance (BASBF), Riga, Latvia participated successfully at international EUROWEEK networking event hosted by Universite de Lille, France from April 25 to April 29, 2022.

International EUROWEEK networking event is an annual teaching and learning activity organized by PRIME Networking partner universities held since 2001. During the event academia and students from various countries work together in international teams by studying and offering solutions on specific topics. This year’s topic was “Design and Corporate Social Responsibility”. Four students from BASBF worked in teams with France, Sweden, and USA. Students were supervised by 3 academic staff members from BASBF. In addition, academic staff shared experience on internationalization, interdisciplinary teaching activities by promoting European dimension beyond Europe.

The rector, dr. Liga Peiseniece highlighted that the event promotes international and cross-cultural teaching and learning by adding value to existing higher education provision in a rapidly changing global environment. The topic of Euroweek 2022 under today’s geopolitical situation contributes to a responsible attitude towards vulnerable people.
