BI one of the top 30 business schools in Europe

In this year’s Financial Times ranking of Customised programmes, BI Norwegian Business School holds its ground at number 29 among the best business schools in Europe.

This is the same position as last year. Five new schools have been added to the list since 2010. Bearing this in mind, BI’s current ranking represents a slightly stronger position for BI.

“Considering ever-growing competition, we have to say we’re pleased to maintain our position of number 29 on the list of Europe’s best business schools,” says BI President Tom Colbjørnsen. “Our goal is to develop towards becoming one of Europe’s leading business schools. It is therefore gratifying to see that BI scored well in this ranking on the number of programmes completed in whole or in part abroad, and that we have good international partner schools we cooperate with.” BI Norwegian Business School also received high scores for facilities. On a world basis, BI is ranked number 61.

More about ranking

The Financial Times’ (FT) ranking of Customised programmes is partly based on employers’ opinions of the usefulness of the programmes to their respective organisations (value for money and future use). In addition, FT has considered the level of position held by the participants. Senior management programmes are ranked higher than programmes for middle managers and specialists. FT also emphasises schools’ international profiles in the execution of the programmes themselves.
