EBS Helsinki started its second academic year with more than 60 new students
Today on 4th October was the opening ceremony of the new academic year of EBS Helsinki in the main hall of EBS in Tallinn. The students were welcomed by the Minister of the Embassy of the Republic of Finland, Ms Heli Kanerva. This autumn there are 63 new students who start their studies at EBS Helsinki which amounts to 130 students in total.
According to the Head of EBS Helsinki, the school is doing well in Finland. “The admission of Finnish students was successful. This year foreign students accounted for 45% of all the new students at EBS. The majority were Finnish students who started their studies at EBS Helsinki and at EBS Tallinn. This shows that the interest of our neighbours in the north to Estonia is big and we have something interesting to offer them,” said Sigrid Lainevee.
EBS established its branch in Helsinki in the autumn of 2011 with 60 students in two study groups. The International Business Administration Bachelor´s programme is offered in the modern Technopolis Ruoholahti campus in Helsinki. The activity of EBS Helsinki is co-ordinated by an Advisory Board that includes Finnish intellectuals and top entrepreneurs.
