The second event under the umbrella name “EMAS Business Strike: Business and other matters” took place on March, 28 at EMAS Business School.

“EMAS Business Strike: Business and other matters” unites interesting speakers and thoughtful audience to raise issues on a wide range of topics - from burning business issues to the latest trends in the world of fashion.

The spring session at EMAS Business School was aimed to address the following questions:

• Why will you be fired soon?
• How to develop CSR initiatives wisely?
• How to make emotional presents and bring child dreams back?

Andrey Kolyada, Rector of EMAS Business School, one of the leading experts in strategic management, focused the audience on the issues related to the recent developments in IT sphere which will inevitably lead to restructuring and mass layoffs. He tried to show how robots and various IT tools and solutions might oust real specialists specifying at the same time who can still feel safe in our fast-changing world and what steps should be taken by those at risk of losing their jobs.

Oksana Tazhirova, Director of “The Fifth Wind” centre, an expert in CSR and charity initiatives, presented 12 recent trends in the sphere in corporate social responsibility and charity initiatives that enjoy popularity in Russia. Oksana tried to answer the questions why companies invest in social projects and how it influences the company well-being.  

Maria Anisimova, CHANEL regional representative, event-maker, the author of the Emotional Presents Studio, gave the participants a deeper insight into what kind of presents can make one’s day on a special occasion. We are all sure that our attitude to congratulating our friends and relatives will never be the same now.
