Get, Set, Reset: Redesigning and innovating international strategies challenge
Reimagining the paradigm of internationalisation – join us on a journey towards what the “new international” may look like in the future. The future of internationalisation is uncertain, and the prognosis varies greatly. Maybe it’s time to explore, test and experiment with new approaches to internationalisation to shape the future in a meaningful way.
We don’t have magical solutions, but we can guide you through a framework that enables you to look at things potentially from quite a different perspective. The emphasis will be on practising a new approach to innovation and learning new methods of engaging with a complex issue that you can replicate with your business school colleagues.
In this series of three practical workshops, we will apply an innovation framework approach called the Double Diamond developed by the Design Council that will enable participants to explore, test and experiment with new approaches to internationalisation. We aim to create a space for participants to work together and debate questions like: What would the success of refreshed international strategies look like? What do we feel passionate about in our global education context? Are there any aspects of the pre-pandemic international strategies that we need to get rid of for good? Is there anything that we have learnt as a new practice that we would like to expand and integrate more? The emphasis will be on practising a new approach to innovation and learning new methods of engaging with a complex issue that can be replicated with your business school colleagues.
Each workshop will kick off with inspirational speakers who will set the scene and provide stimuli for the participants to start the reset process. In the course of the three weeks, participants will be able to work in teams assembled around common interests related to international education and work together in an iterative manner following the Double Diamond innovation framework.
During the three-week series of interactive workshops, you will:
- Learn about trends and practices that are being currently discussed in business schools
- Practice an innovation framework approach to complex problem solving
- Collaborate with your peers and experiment with new ideas based on recent insights
