Graduation Celebration in LvBS

June 14 in Lviv Business School of UCU were held graduation ceremonies. This year's graduates were members of Key Executive MBA program and for the first time - participants of MSc in Innovations and Entrepreneurship.

Dignitaries who congratulated the graduates, concentrated on the topic of much-needed changes for the country and the role of business in the process of transformation. Alumni were congratulated by representatives of the administration of the Ukrainian Catholic University, teachers and friends of LvBS.

Rector of the Ukrainian Catholic University, Rev. Dr. Bohdan Prakh emphasized that the program of Lviv Business School aims to ensure that graduates, having a new experience and knowledge, could change Ukraine.

Director of Lviv Business School Sophia Opatska stressed that she sets very high expectations and accountability on the Alumni of LvBS, a community that brings together graduates of all programs.

Commencement speech was given by the president of the Ukrainian Catholic University, Bishop Boris (Gudziak). He focused on the influence of the Ukrainian Maidan on business: "Maidan became a special base for Ukrainian business. Youth and students have initiated Maidan and the middle class was its engine and a guarantee of fertility. Maidan brought a sense of independence and courage which are needed every day in business, "- said the bishop.

Graduates of LvBS were also congratulated by Pavlo Sheremeta, Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, Chairman of the Advisory Board of LvBS, Oksana Semeniuk, HR-director of "Mondelis Ukraine" Yaryna Klyuchkovska, teacher of LvBS, Counsellor of the Minister of income and charges of Ukraine.
