International Academy of Business has joined Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) in March 2014. As of today, AACSB has more than 1350 member business schools in more than 80 countries.
AACSB International is a membership association of educational institutions, business, not-for-profit, and government organizations devoted to the advancement of higher education in business. Membership does not imply accreditation.

The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business was founded in 1916 to accredit schools of business. The first accreditations took place in 1919. Its founding members were: Columbia University, Dartmouth College, Harvard University, New York University, Northwestern University, Ohio State University, Tulane University, University of California, Berkeley, University of Chicago, Purdue University, University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign, University of Nebraska–Lincoln, University of Pennsylvania, University of Pittsburgh, University of Texas at Austin, University of Wisconsin–Madison and Yale University.
The mission is to advance quality management education worldwide through accreditation, thought leadership, and value-added services. It is regarded as the benchmark for business school quality among the academic community. The main criteria:
1. Membership in AACSB;
2. Rational resource management;
3. Qualified faculty in line with consistent academic degrees and experience;
4. Consistent share of international students;
5. Continuous update of knowledge areas;
6. Optimal conditions for interaction between students and faculty;
7. Presence of specific curricula that students must complete;
8. Availability of local regional accreditation in the country of location of the school;
9. Opportunities for research.
Today 694 schools have achieved AACSB Accreditation throughout 45 countries on 6 continents.
