IAB has entered the top 20 best universities in Kazakhstan
According to the National ranking held annually, International Academy of Business is in the top six humanitarian and economic institutions of Kazakhstan for the second year in a row.
Currently, the development of global trends poses new challenges for higher education in Kazakhstan. One of the main problems is the recognition of national universities by both global and national rating agencies.
In 2012, the International Academy of Business (IAB) has entered the 1000 best business schools of the world when received three Palmes out of five, according to Eduniversal (the French rating agency in the field of higher education). It is noted that IAB has confirmed the title of the best business school in Kazakhstan the fifth time since 2008.
In 2013, IAB has entered the top 20 best universities in the Republic of Kazakhstan under the national rating called Independent Kazakhstan Quality Assurance Agency in Education that presented the national ranking of the best universities in Kazakhstan in 2013, formed on the basis of statistical analysis of academic performance, expert evaluation and the employers’ survey.
The rankings take into account the quality of the faculty, the student body and the results of their teaching, research and innovation activities of universities, international cooperation, as well as online presence. Also, they take into account the results of the employers and government agencies survey. The obtained data were summarized and translated into percentages. In total, the general ranking of the best universities in Kazakhstan was represented by the 60 schools in the country.
Worth noting is the fact that the top 20 best universities included only three private HEIs, the other 17 universities or 85% are national, state, and having a joint-stock form of ownership with the state.
According to one of the members of the Republican Public Council, which is composed of deputies of the Majilis of the Parliament, social activists, journalists and university presidents a moratorium has been declared on the optimization of the universities that are included into the list of the best in Kazakhstan and those that have already proved their strong positions on the world stage. All of the above gives us the right to be absolutely certain that IAB will continue to carry its brand "International Business Academy - one of the best universities in Kazakhstan!"
