IN MEMORIAM: LORETA VALANČIENĖ (1974 – 2015)
It is with great sadness KTU School of Economics and Business announce that Professor Loreta Valančienė has passed away on May 16.
The community of Kaunas University of Technology has lost not only a competent scientist, excellent teacher, but also a great team member, proactive, insightful, very diligent and responsible, thus friendly, sincere, sensitive, compassionate and understanding person.
Prof. dr. Loreta Valančienė was born on July 14, 1974, in Kaunas, Lithuania. 1992-2002 has studied at Kaunas University of Technology, where she held master in management and a doctorate in social sciences. Prof. L. Valančienė worked as associate professor at ISM (2002-2005), University of Šiauliai (2003-2009) and KTU (2003-2010). 2006-2010 she was a Vice-Dean of KTU School of Economics and Management. The Professor was a Head of the Department of Accounting of KTU School of Economics and Business for the past four years.
The Professor will be laid out at 13 pm on 19 May in funeral hall of Good Shepherd Church (Krėvės pr. 95A, Kaunas).
St. Mass will be celebrated at 8 am on 20th of May.
Urn to Petrašiūnai Cemetery will be escorted at 13 pm on 20th of May.
