Lviv Business School (LvBS) of UCU launched the Center for Enterpreneurship of UCU

Lviv Business School (LvBS) of Ukrainian Catholic University (UCU) launched the Center for Enterpreneurship of UCU on April 2018. The idea of the Center for Entrepreneurship was to create a platform for studying and development on the basis of LvBS and UCU.

The Center for Enterpreneurship will provide the teams with necessary knowledge, mentor support and advice of practical entrepreneurs for realization of successful business project. The goal of the Center for Enterpreneurship is to create an education environment, where brave projects receive their surge for realization as well as professional lecturer’s assistance, experts from both Ukraine and abroad. It is important to recreate enterprise atmosphere, which prompts young people and experts in different fields to create joint teams and realize business projects together.

Selected participants’ teams will receive knowledge shaping the entrepreneurship reasoning, a type of thinking which makes it possible to successfully launch a startup in the shortest term.

Untill 11th of May Center for Enterpreneurship is looking for dream teams for business accelerator. 20 mentors within 500+ hours of training and work “in the fields” will bring a breakthrough business in technology and innovation, as a result. The Center will provide 3 programs:

1.      EdTech - the development of products at the crossroads of education and technology, the use of digital platforms for the implementation of modern and simple methods of training.

2.      AdTech is the development of digital marketing products, as well as improving existing practices in data analysis and processing (CRM, AdBlockers, Big Data).

3.      FoodTech - development of products at the intersection of gastronomy and technology.

On 13th of April Center for Enterpreneurship launched the first pre-accelerator program for students. During 4  weeks program, 8 selected teams will go from idea to product creation at an early stage. The participants will be teached to test their ideas for viability in market conditions, to create prototypes and test them with users, and most importantly - to sell solutions to customer problems. As part of the course, they will study the basics of business modeling, marketing, sales and finance. Upon completion of the program, the teams will be able to reach the next level - a 14-week acceleration in technology (EdTech, AdTech, FoodTech), on 11th of May. This program will lead to a new level of entrepreneurship teams that already have a ready-made prototype and will help them create a promising business.

We believe and support the success of the teams that start their journey in the Center for Enterpreneurship. Fasten the seat belts, because we are speeding towards the great achievements and the birth of a big business with the accelerator of the Center of Entrepreneurship!
