Narxoz master-class with NRU Higher School of Economics

Two master-classes were conducted from 14 to17 of November, 2016 on the topic of educational programs and how to manage them. Two speakers from Higher School of Economics (National Research University) explained the approaches to implement the educational programs at Narxoz University and discussed the challenges of implementing educational programs and how to overcome them. During this master-class top management of the university including the vice-rector, deans and heads of the departments analyzed the experience of Higher School of Economics in educational programs. Moreover, different cases from the Western universities were also discussed.

The master-class started with the definition of the ‘educational program’ and then followed by learning the procedures of the implementation of educational programs and different approaches to finance the programs. Finally, there was a team work on creating the model of the graduate’s competence and new assessment criteria.

Master-classes were very dynamic and participants could use the learned knowledge right away and discuss it with colleagues. All the expectations expressed in the first day were fulfilled according to the words of participants.

We hope that faculty and staff of the Narxoz University will benefit from the master-class and will successfully implement the educational programs at Narxoz University.
