New program «Good Governance» at Lviv Business School
April 10 Lviv Business School UCU launched a new training program «Good Governance: Program for an innovative approach to governance». Participants of the first set of programs for managers of national and regional authorities were 45 people from 8 regions of Ukraine. The slogan of the new program is - the professionalism, patriotism, honesty.
Among the participants there were:
- Newly appointed officials
- Representatives of NGOs and political parties who want to educate new leaders
- Those who see their professional development in the field of public administration and local self-government
- Those who want to work on changing the system of governance and need additional knowledge and competence for this.
Among the topics that participants study:"Lustration", "Advocacy and Lobbying", "The institutional organization of state power", "Joint management", "Local and regional finances." Decision making Topics: «Leadership and Power", "Change Management", "Negotiations», «Adult Learning», «Religion and public life."
Having opened the program for public administration, the Ukrainian Catholic University implements one of the three areas of its activity, which includes the reform of higher education and dialogue between East and West. The goal – to prepare a new wave of managers for government agencies, that will have innovative thinking and understand how to introduce changes in current crisis conditions in state bodies and will apply ethical principles and values for the community. In the future, three-month module program should become a starting point for the year and a half master's program on public administration.
