Professor Ruth Alas from EBS received the certificate of Tallinn's Conference Ambassador
On January 30th Estonian Business School Professor Ruth Alas received the certificate of Tallinn's Conference Ambassador. Ruth Alas was the organizer of EURAM 2011, a conference that brought over 800 management specialists from over 50 countries to Estonia in June last year.

The goal of conference ambassadors program, conducted by Estonian Conference Bureau and Tallinn City Enterprise Department, is to support Estonian specialists to invite international events of their fields to Estonia and to share different conference related news, information and contacts. In addition to Ruth Alas also academic Jüri Engelbrecht, Dr Eero Merilind and Tallinn Zoo Manager Mati Kaal are among the people who have joined the program recently.
This year for the first time the title for Conference Deed of the Year was given out for best international conference with at least 100 participants and 40% foreign participants. The title went to European Japan studies Association congress which was organized by Tallinn University. The conference brought almost 800 foreign visitors from 43 countries to Estonia.
