SQA in BA School of Business and Finance
In 2013 BA School of Business and Finance was granted the status of the Centre of SQA, UK that along with its Bachelor’s, Master’s and a Doctoral programmes has received the rights to confer SQA, UK verified qualifications. The SQA accreditation verifies that SQA approved qualifications comply with the quality standards set by SQA, UK.
In 2014./2015 academic year already 39 students of professional Bachelor’s degree programme „Finance” studying at BA School of Business and Finance along with the Bachelor’s degree decided to take the opportunity and acquire also a professional qualification of a Financial Manager certified by Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA). That means that the graduates will possess not only financial competence but also management skills.
In June 2015, 39 students received certificates to acknowledge additional skills and competences of young financial specialists. In addition to a Bachelor’s degree students acquired the qualification of a Financial Manager. It is very valuable investment in education which in today’s competitive labour market provides added value to their Bachelor’s degree.
A professional international qualification of a Financial Manager is offered not only to students of BA School of Business and Finance but also to other interested individuals who can apply for the Module and qualify for this qualification after taking the exam and demonstrating the acquired learning outcomes.
