Start-up community MAZGAS started a new season in Klaipeda

On Tuesday, September 29, MAZGAS (translation: “a knot”) – a Klaipeda start-up community – started its new season. The first speaker of the season was Valdas Lopeta, a journalist, communication expert, and lecturer with 13 years of experience in public relations, corporate and social projects communications projects. This event was organized by LCC Innovation Lab.

On Tuesday, September 29, MAZGAS (translation: “a knot”) – a Klaipeda start-up community  – started its new season. The first speaker of the season was Valdas Lopeta, a journalist, communication expert, and lecturer with 13 years of experience in public relations, corporate and social projects communications projects. This event was organized by LCC Innovation Lab.

 “This was the first MAZGAS  meeting of the year. We are thankful to Valdas for his great presentation and insights about present and future tendencies in the world of PR and communications”, said Inga urbonaite, Director of LCC Inovation Lab.

MAZGAS is a start-up community co-founded by LCC Innovation Lab, ICONUS, Civitta and HUB Klaipeda.  Once a month it gathers  to hear reputable representatives from different industries give talks on best practices and hot topics related to running a business. Each month, this community dedicates a session for a hands-on workshop at the LCC Innovation Lab.

LCC Innovation Lab is a community of students, researchers and practitioners working collaboratively on service innovations that matter. In June 2013, LCC Innovation Lab hosted the first and very successful GovJam in the Baltic States. GovJam Klaipeda was a part of a worldwide iniaitive – Global GovJam, an event that applies the concepts of service design into the world of government and the public sector.
