The aim of “The Best Start-Up Idea” Competition, which IPM Business School is holding with the support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and PYXERA Global (USA), is to develop an entrepreneurial initiative in Belarus.

The competition is built on the principle of an accelerator. The Forth Season of “The Best Start-Up Idea” Competition began last fall and turned out to be an innovative one:

- at the stage of accepting applications, we actively invited not only participants with a start-up idea, but also existing business projects that want to develop and work out a new direction;

- 11 face-to-face sessions for participants were organized on various topics and for 3 months almost every Saturday participants from regional cities of Belarus came to Minsk for classes;

- a separate session on women's entrepreneurship was held;

- a special focus was made on how the projects cope with  the current pandemic environment, how they plan their way forward and what support is needed.

The Grand Finale of “The Best Start-Up Idea” Competition took place on June, 19 and it was the first Grand Final held online. We send our congrats to the winners and our special thanks to the faculty members, business partners, alumni and friends of IPM business School who 8 months long supported and shared their knowledge and experience in full-time classes and mentoring sessions with the competitors.
