The fifth Jonas Pranas Aleksa’s International Scientific Conference
The fifth Jonas Pranas Aleksa’s International Scientific Conference “Vision of Modern Village” was held in Šiauliai University Library on September 22-23.
The conference was attended by representatives from Šiauliai University, Vilnius University, Aleksandras Stulginskis University, Mykolas Romeris University, the Lithuanian Research Centre for Agriculture and Forestry, Lithuanian institute of agrarian economics and other Lithuanian education institutions, foreign guests from Latvia, Poland, Slovakia, Greece, the USA.
The aim of the conference was to continue our effort in analyzing and discussing economic and social-cultural matters of the contemporary rural development and new possibilities of rural-urban partnership.
The fifth JONAS PRANAS ALEKSA’S INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE was organized by Rural Development Research Centre (Faculty of Social Sciences, Šiauliai University) led by dr. Jonas Jasaitis.
