"UDG Cetinje Discussions"

For the second time UDG organized "Cetinje Discussions" on Thursday and Friday, July 5, and 6, 2018 at the Grand Hotel in Cetinje.

"Cetinje Discussions" is a conference meeting for professors, associates, employees and students of UDG.

The goal of the event is to improve the vision of UDG development and, accordingly, to improve teaching programs and processes at UDG.

This year's Discussions were attended by 286 professors, associates, employees, representatives of UDG students and practitioners from the country, region and abroad.

The central theme of the other Cetinje discussions was to improve the component "i" from the unique model of the UDG study, which is based on the equation "S = z×i2", with the greatest focus on Student's Behavior, Informatization, Internationalization, Projects and Research, which were the themes of the four panels discussed during the two days of the Debate.

Modernization of the teaching process and harmonization of curricula with global trends was followed by lectures of experts from Germany / Iran, Belgium and the region. Experts from abroad talked about global trends and changes on the global scene, which are important for creating a new perspective on the reality and awakening new ideas that would encourage better implementation of UDG model studies.

The key conclusion of this year's Cetinje debates is that in less than a decade of the existence of UDG, much has been done to modernize curricula, through modern IT infrastructure; by strengthening and establishing international networking through numerous projects, conferences, exchanges of professors, associates and students with a large number of universities around the world. However, it is necessary to invest even more efforts in improving the Student's Behavior (his way of thinking, character and value system), which is a key point of differentiation of UDG and one of the important determinants of further development of the University.
