BMDA and MRU COOPERATION

Baltic Management Development Association (BMDA) took part as the partner in the International Conference “SOCIAL TECHNOLOGIES '11: ICT FOR SOCIAL TRANSFORMATIONS”. The conference was organized by the Faculty of Social Informatics at Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) on November 17th-18th , 2011 in Vilnius, Lithuania.

This international conference has focused on conceptual design, methodological foundation and practical implementation of social software for managing sustainable development and long-term effectiveness enhancing of social macro- and mega- systems

The Conference participants were welcomed by Vice-Rector of MRU Dr. Inga Žalėnienė and Vice-Dean Dr. Aelita Skaržauskienė. During the welcome speech dr. Aelita skaržauskienė thanked BMDA for being the partner of the conference. 

At the Plenary session, there were delivered presentations of speakers from Copenhagen Business School (Denmark), University “Politehnica” of Bucharest (Romania), Digipro Computer Consultants & FUNecole Research Institute (Cyprus), Zagreb University, Faculty of Organization and Informatics (Croatia), Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences (Norway), Kingston University (United Kingdom) and the others. The conference had the working sessions where participants could attend by choosing the field of their interest and afterwards the discussion of the sessions followed.

BMDA had the booth in the Conference, where conference participants could get all the information about Baltic Managements Development Association, its vision, mission, objectives and activities, as well as the “hottest” news from the international BMDA network and what encourage participants interest and discussions.
