Has been successfully completed one of International Competence Development Program module “How to prepare a good case based on research data”

On the 7th of December has been completed one of International competence development modules "How to prepare a good case based on research data" organized by Baltic Management Development Association (BMDA).

This Competence development seminar was presented by Assoc. Prof of ISM Margarita Pilkiene. Seminar "How to prepare a good case based on research data" was organized for 30 lecturers and researchers. The most actively participated Kaunas Technology University Faculty of Economics and Business Administration and Business Strategy Institute. Also we had participants from Alytus College Institution of Higher Education, BA school of Business and Finance, International Business School at Vilnius University, International School of Law and Business, Kolping College, Lithuanian Academy of Physical Education, Mykolas Romeris University, Šiauliai College, Vytautas Magnus University, also individual BMDA members took part in this training.

Participants have developed their Case writing skills. Training members got information about essence of Case method, its advantages and position among other interactive teaching methods, was answered question "What makes a proper Case?". During this training was presented Case writing plan, structure, style, difficulty level and Case writing process. Also preparation for Case writing, colleting data, data/information resources, first contacts, Case focus. Lecturer talked about first version of text, how to confirm quotations, how to edit Case and get  agreement for Case publication. Also participants got instructions for Case training. During this seminar was presented information about Case summary, how to formulate teaching objectives and results, segment, methods, process of analysis (time plan, board plan, questions. Summary of questions that students ask most frequently.
