The annual Strategic BMDA Board meeting
The annual Strategic BMDA Board meeting took place on November 5, 2011 in Kaunas. The Board members, representing various institutions from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, United Kingdom and USA participated in this meeting, which traditionally takes place each November.

President of BMDA, Dr. Virginijus Kundrotas updated Board members on the most important activities and
achievements of BMDA during the year 2011 and raised a number of strategic goals to be achieved during the coming year. He noted that 11 new members joint Association since beginning of 2011.
BMDA coordinator Goda Nevidauskiene and Project Manager Ugne Mikalauskaite provided detailed information on BMDA membership, BMDA IT portal development, coming 10th BMDA Conference in Gdansk, cooperation with other associations and on many other issues.
Board members discussed various suggestions and ideas as well as provided important input related to the further development of BMDA. A number of important strategic decisions towards further expansion of BMDA has been taken during the meeting.
At the moment BMDA unites 60 members from 21 countries and rapidly growing further.
