Redefine the (im)possible at the EFMD 2022 Deans conference
The 2022 Deans Conference will take place online on 26-27-28 January rather than being hosted by the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management in Germany, but our primary mission remains the same: to provide you with a platform to catalyse conversation in an open and trusted environment, and foremost, an environment inclusive of our diverse and global network of schools.
The pandemic left little choice but to thrust business schools into a period of adaptation and change. The reactive modus operandi quickly gave way to a transformative drive that sparked innovative solutions considered unachievable only months prior – it made us redefine the (im)possible.
It was not only a moment of an accelerated tactical adjustment for business school leaders, but also a moment of profound strategic reflection about our mission and values. Such reflection thrives in a collaborative environment of ideation and exchange brought to a halt so abruptly by isolation.

The travel restrictions and complex regulations still affect many countries and institutions worldwide. Therefore, we feel that an online Conference for Deans and Directors General is currently the only viable option to ensure that all institutions can equally take part and benefit from the insights, discussion and networking opportunities.
From hybrid learning and credential sharing, through internationalisation and science breakthrough, to societal impact and well-being, the conference programme will bring you a breadth of subjects that are top of the deans’ agendas, facilitated by leading thinkers in the industry and beyond.
