After a year of unprecedented challenges and disruption, we all ponder upon the near future, the way we’ll live, work and learn post-pandemic.

“Not business as usual”

"Not business as usual" is not only inherent to the past year, but will describe our operations in the months ahead. "Not business as usual" also sets the tone of our upcoming 2021 EFMD Annual Conference that will provide a forum for exchange, learning and networking.

Now is the time to rethink the wider role of business schools as a factor for positive change in society, tackling questions such as sustainability and diversity. It is time to question current faculty models, analyse challenges and opportunities arising from the new competitive landscape, and embrace life-long learning models.

This year’s format

With the ongoing uncertainty regarding international travel and many institutions facing no-travel policies until the end of the year, EFMD, in alignment with other major networks, decided that a virtual format will be most inclusive and safest for our members.

Our Steering Committee is developing interactive session formats that will allow you to network with peers from the diverse EFMD community and address your ideas and challenges. Our conference platform will provide further opportunities to discuss and connect.
