COOPERATION BETWEEN THE UDG, FACULTY OF POLYTECHNICS AND THE CHAMBER OF ENGINEERS OF MONTENEGRO

The Chamber of Engineers of Montenegro and the UDG Faculty of Polytechnics have signed an agreement on cooperation on the basis of which they will develop mutual cooperation, as well as the forms and manner of achieving that cooperation.

Based on the agreement, a mechanism will be established for the exchange of experience, knowledge, expertise and good practice between professors, students and experts of Polytechnics and representatives / experts from the practice of the Chamber of Engineers, as well as involvement in joint research and professional projects.

The cooperation will also concentrate on the implementation of youth education activities through the organization of professional discussions, round tables, forums and conferences. Part of the lectures of postgraduate students have already been held in cooperation with the Chamber, through a one-day webinar on BIM technologies. Further networking is planned through the process of three-year implementation of BIM in the teaching process of Polytechnics. The guest appearance of the representatives of the Chamber of Engineers at lectures and other creative and educational contents organized by the faculty of Polytechnics have been successfully conducted and this good practice will continue in the following period.

 

Areas of cooperation will also focus on the implementation of activities such as:

  • workshops, seminars, lectures, joint meetings and other activities that would be aimed at promoting education and knowledge, improving business conditions;
  • preparation of joint projects - programs and applications to potential donors with special reference to EU funds;
  • training of lecturers and employees of the contracting parties;
  • training of Polytechnics students within professional internships;
  • visiting professors of Polytechnics at workshops and seminars organized by the Chamber of Engineers;
  • involvement of the president and other representatives of the Chamber of Engineers for engagement in teaching;
  • involvement of the representatives of the Chamber of Engineers in the Commissions for the defense of diploma theses, in areas where there is interest and possibly give suggestions for their development;
  • other areas of cooperation in the spirit of this Agreement, in which the signatories establish a common interest.
