Join the Panel Discussion on Institutional Dynamics and Effective Accreditations

You are kindly invited to join the experts from 4 different parts of the world for a panel discussion on institutional accreditations and their effectiveness. The event will take place online on 15 Feb at 13:00 CET.

Accreditation systems are designed to improve the quality of education, create a learning and feedback loop around research and education, and make excellence predictable. This type of control system could be seen as the opposite of dynamism and entrepreneurship in changing markets.

Our experience at CEEMAN is that rather than blocking change and dynamism, institutional accreditation can promote flexibility and entrepreneurship in business and management schools.

This is possible when the focus of accreditations is not only on quality and impact, but also on relevance and dynamism. Relevance is the connection to the future and dynamism is the ability to adapt and continuously learn.

This session is about sharing experiences from the accreditation body's perspective and from the institutional perspective: how to create synergies between institutional accreditations and the entrepreneurial school in dynamic markets and societies? We will discuss this "dilemma" with experienced leaders in schools and accrediting bodies.

Host:
Ivo Matser, CEEMAN IQA Director (Netherlands)

Guests:
Lana Elramly, AABS Director (Egypt)
Inga Lapina, Riga Technical University (Latvia)
Yaroslav Pavlov, Rector of IMISP (Russia)
Eric Talavera Campbell, Executive Director at EQUAA (Peru)

Date and time: 15 Feb at 13:00 CET, online
