LvBS will research ethic challenges of future technologies

Lviv Business School of the Ukrainian Catholic University starts a project “Ethics and Technologies” in research of ethic challenges of future technologies. The project aims at the study of ethic perspectives of development and use of innovative technologies, like artificial intellect (AI), human-and-machine interfaces, neural networks, bionics, bidgata and others.

RECTOR OF UDG NEW YEAR’S RECEPTION OF TALENTED STUDENTS “THE SEEDS OF THE FUTURE”

On Thursday, 29th December 2017, Rector of UDG, Professor Veselin Vukotic organized a reception for the best and prosperous students, named “The seeds of the future”. The lecture “The seeds of future” was Rector’s New Year’s event for the most prosperous students of Montenegro. This group numbers around 80 students: • The best students of all faculties of University of Donja Gorica who have distinguished themselves and in both curricular and extra-curricular events and are members of a special group of students “PhD talents”, who are preparing themselves for PhD studies in Montenegro or abroad. • Young talents from high school- best high school students from Montenegro who attended the first Camp for talents organized by UDG in July 2016.

Based on the decision of the Rector of the Collegium of the University of Donja Gorica on Thursday, 12.8.2016. was held IX round table dedicated to the improvement of teaching: New ideas and continue with innovation in teaching at UDG. The round table was attended by all the teachers, associates and employees and PhD students at the UDG and also PhD “Junose”(The group of students from the first year of basic studies took PhD and work with their super visor Professor Veselin Vukotic, Rector of UDG.) Also, a round table was free open for all students from UDG!

At the annual conference of Eduniversal, held in Perth, Australia, the best business schools of the world were awarded with certificates. EBS qualified among the 300 top business schools for the 9th time, whereas there are the total of 12,000 business schools worldwide.

Life after War: LvBS Teaches ATO Veterans to Build Successful Business

Lviv Business School of the Ukrainian Catholic University (LvBS) ran a free training program on Doing Your Own Business for Ukrainian military personnel (ATO veterans and their family members) to assist them in starting and running a successful business. From October till mid-December, 30 participants completed weekly thematic modules to gain the knowledge and master the tools required for translating their business ideas into reality. The program was implemented as part of the project “Ukraine – Norway: Retraining and Social Adaptation of Military Personnel and Their Family Members in Ukraine” financed by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The implementation of the project in Ukraine is vested in the International Foundation for Social Adaptation.
