INSTITUTIONAL VISIT - ERASMUS + PROJECTS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF DONJA GORICA
An institutional visit of the National Erasmus + Office in Montenegro was held at the University of Donja Gorica with the aim of presenting the importance of Erasmus + projects that have been implemented and are being implemented at the University of Donja Gorica.
NATIONAL CONFERENCE: CYBER SECURITY INDUSTRY 4.0 CHALLENGES ORGANIZED BY UDG
National conference on Industry 4.0 and Cyber Security issues in Montenengro held on December 15th in Hotel Hilton Podgorica, Montenegro. The conference is organized by UDG and in cooperation with the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro. During conference several research projects coordinated by UDG were presented.

The University of Donja Gorica has established the Office for Gender Equality, within the project University and Gender Mainstreaming - UNIGEM.

The delegation of the University of Donja Gorica, led by the Rector of the University prof. dr. Veselin Vukotic, visited Arizona State University No. 1 ranked in innovation in the U.S. by U.S. News & World Report.

By the decision of the Senate of the University of Donja Gorica, the "Svetozar-Steve Pejović" award was established.
HAYEK'S LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD TO PROFESSOR VUKOTIC AT THE CENTRAL BANK OF AUSTRIA
Professor Vukotic, Rector of the University of Donja Gorica, received the prestigious European Hayek Lifetime Achievement Award as part of the tenth international conference held at the Central Bank of Austria entitled "Austrian School of Economics in the 21st Century". Professor Vukotić is the first winner of this award from Southeast Europe, and it was presented to him by the Governor of the Central Bank of Austria, Professor Robert Holzmann, signed, among others, by Nobel Laureate Vernon L Smith.

RTU HAS SOLEMNLY PARTED WITH ITS HISTORICAL BUILDING AT 1 KAĻĶU STREET
Riga Technical University (RTU) turns over a new historical page and leaves the administrative building of the university at 1 Kaļķu Street, which has been the symbol of the Latvian higher education in engineering for over 60 years. On Monday, 13 December, the administration took off the granite plate with RTU name from the building’s façade. Further on, the university administration will be located at RTU student campus in Ķīpsala, where most of the faculties, the Laboratory Building, the Scientific Library and hostels are already concentrated, and which is becoming a modern engineering centre.
A REPRESENTATIVE OF RTU IS APPOINTED TO THE BOARD OF THE EUROPEAN INNOVATION COUNCIL (EIC)
Liene Briede, Director of the Science and Innovation Center of Riga Technical University (RTU) and doctoral student of Faculty of Engineering Economics and Management , has been approved as the first representative of Latvia at the Board of the European Innovation Council. The council, established this year, is the most ambitious innovation initiative in Europe. Its goal is to boost research, innovation and development of start-ups in order to bring a technological breakthrough to Europe.
