UDG STUDENT AT THE 3rd INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE "MIC-VIS 2020"

The 3rd International scientific conference “Mediterranean Islands Conference (MIC-Vis 2020)” was held this year on the island of Vis. This year it had a special hybrid format, with a limited number of visitors at the conference and online presentations by domestic and international scientists and experts.

Demography, public services, culture and tradition, media and communication, migration, education, tourism and sustainable development were some of the main topics discussed at this year’s conference, in the particular context of the coronavirus pandemic.

Visitors mostly agreed that the current pandemic has caused significant obstacles to the development of Mediterranean resources, but also new threats that occur with social phenomena, such as migration in a pandemic.

As part of the conference, an exhibition was organized for which a photograph of a student of the Faculty of Design and Multimedia, Marija Markovic, was chosen. Details about the conference and exhibition can be seen at the following link (insert link)
