THE FINAL DAY OF 19TH ANNUAL BMDA CONFERENCE
On 8th of October, the 19th Annual BMDA Conference has been closed. The second conference day was dedicated for the business schools. Also, new association members were welcomed becoming members of international BMDA family. Also BMDA president delivered BMDA significant impact and innovativeness awards to BMDA members.

BMDA presence at the Annual Conference of Business Schools of Brazil – ANGRAD
On December 5th, 2020, the President of BMDA Dr. Virginijus Kundrotas spoke at the Annual conference of ANGRAD – the association of Brazilian Business Schools. He presented BMDA activities and projects and invited Business Schools from Brazil and around the World to cooperate with members of Baltic Management Development Association (BMDA).
BMDA Board Member has been approved as the Rector of BA School of Business and Finance (Latvia)
Līga Peiseniece – the Doctor of Management in Business Administration, Associate Professor has been approved as the Rector of BA School of Business and Finance (Latvia) by the Cabinet of Ministers of Latvia on December 1, 2020. The Constitutional Assembly of BA School of Business and Finance elected Līga Peiseniece as the rector of the BA School of Business and Finance on October 27, 2020. The Constitutional Assembly of BA School of Business and Finance elects the rector for a term not exceeding five years, not more than twice in a row. Līga Peiseniece has been confirmed as rector for the first time.
BMDA Significant Impact Award
The BMDA Significant Impact Award has been granted to GFKM - Gdansk Foundation for Management Development for its outstanding contribution to the growth and development of individuals, organisations, society and economy. The Award was announced during the 18th Annual BMDA Conference.
BMDA Innovativeness Award
The Award is given to the Faculty of Engineering Economics and Management of Riga Technical University (RTU) for the outstanding demonstration of innovativeness in the study process, evaluating the implemented interdisciplinary approach.
BMDA President at Eduniversal World Convention 2020
Dr. Virginijus Kundrotas – the President of BMDA and Dean of Adizes Graduate School (USA) made a speech at the plenary session and also round table discussion of the 13th Eduniversal World Convention which was held on 10 – 13th of November (2020) online in "3D Lavatal Virtual World" (created by VirBELA) and organised by the Eduniversal - global ranking and rating agency, in collaboration with Nova School of Business and Economics, which is considered to be one of the leading Business Schools in Portugal.
