ISM among the best business universities in the global ranking
During the global university ranking “Eduniversal” congress ISM University of Management and Economics was awarded with four palms out of five for the fifth time already. The University remains among the top 200 business universities globally. The ISM ranking is the highest in Lithuania and one of the highest in Eastern and Central Europe.

CEEMAN Champion Awards and the winners of the 18th CEEMAN Case Writing Competition announced at the 20th CEEMAN Annual Conference in Cape Town, South Africa. On the final day of the 20th CEEMAN Annual Conference, which took place in Cape Town, South Africa from 26 to 28 September, the CEEMAN Champion Awards were officially announced as well as the winners of the 18th CEEMAN Case Writing Competition, which was held in cooperation with Emerald Group Publishing.

EBS Rector Professor Arno Almann gives an Oath of Office
On September 27th EBS Rector Professor Arno Almann gave an Oath of Office on an official inauguration ceremony in Estonian Business School. The Rector was collared with the Chain of Office by Rector Emeritus Peeter Kross. Arno Almann became the 5th leader of EBS. In 2013 Estonian Business School celebrates its 25th anniversary.
EBS Helsinki started its second academic year with more than 60 new students
Today on 4th October was the opening ceremony of the new academic year of EBS Helsinki in the main hall of EBS in Tallinn. The students were welcomed by the Minister of the Embassy of the Republic of Finland, Ms Heli Kanerva. This autumn there are 63 new students who start their studies at EBS Helsinki which amounts to 130 students in total.

Lithuanian scientists are offering solutions to ensure a long-term competitiveness of the country
Seven Lithuanian universities and the Institute for Energy of Lithuania have started a wide range research for economy „Challenges of Lithuania’s long-term competitiveness”. Since September Kaunas University of Technology, Vytautas Magnus University, Aleksandras Stulginskis University, Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, Mykolas Romeris University and scientists of Institute for Energy of Military Academy of Lithuania have started a research program based on six goals. The research is scheduled for the end in late 2014.
